We are seeking a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist to join our Tier 3 Weight Management Service at Croydon Health Services. You will be providing highly specialist psychological support for individuals with obesity and complex medical comorbidities, supporting sustainable weight loss and healthy lifestyle changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert psychological support to residents of the borough of Croydon with severe obesity and medical comorbidities.
- Deliver group and one-to-one psychological interventions, both in-person and remotely (via MS Teams or other virtual platforms).
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to support patients in the Tier 3 Weight Management Program.
- Develop treatment plans based on psychological assessments and offer tailored interventions.
- Contribute to the development of policies and treatment pathways for lifestyle changes in patients struggling with obesity.
- Offer supervision and training to junior clinical psychologists and multidisciplinary team members.
