Morgan King are representing a well-established Electrical, Building, and Property Services company operating in Essex, Kent, and across the UK. This company are looking for a BMS Engineer who is eager to develop and grow within our team.
This role involves regular travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays, depending on project requirements (with prior notice provided).
About the Role
As a BMS engineer you will be required to carry out service and maintenance work, callouts and installations on existing customer BMS control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Be able to work with various software types
- General electrical maintenance and call outs
- Repair and replacing control equipment, including electrical wiring and fixtures (actuators, control modules, wall controllers & valves)
- Fault-finding and installing control panels
- Installation of distribution boards
- Selection and installation of suitable cable for the type and nature of installation
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
- Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Work in a timely and productive manner to complete assigned tasks
- Working independently or as part of a team on various projects
- Completing risk assessments and user notes for each assigned job
- Adhering to Health & Safety professional standards and company policies
- Attend relevant training courses to enhance knowledge and skills
- Provide excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism on-site
- Being flexible with working hours, including potential weekend work
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- 2391 or equivalent
- Experience installing or maintaining BMS control systems
- ECS Gold Card
- 18th Edition Certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Punctual with excellent verbal and written communication skills
