Our client is a forward thinking, rapidly growing and successful family of care companies delivering domiciliary care and extra care. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Health & Social Care Trainer to join their team.

As a Health & Social Care Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to their existing staff and new starters, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide the best possible care to their clients.

Ideal Candidate

  • Teaching & Education qualification i.e. Level 3 AET, PTTLS, CTLLS
  • A background in care
  • Experience maintaining effective recording systems
  • Basic Life Support TTT (Adults and Paediatrics)
  • Moving & Handling Train the Trainer
  • Full UK driving license, use of a vehicle and not averse to extensive travel as you will be expected to cover the whole business.
  • A genuine passion for supporting learners and understanding the importance of delivering the Health and Social Care programmes that meet CQC requirements and expectations.

Your role will include the following duties:

  • Design and deliver engaging training programs on a variety of health and social care topics, including infection prevention and control, safe handling of medication, manual handling, and emergency first aid
  • Assess the training needs of their staff and develop customized training programs to meet their specific needs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in health and social care, including relevant regulations and best practices
  • Maintain accurate records of training delivery and assessment results
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all staff
  • Delivering Care Worker Training (Mandatory requirements, Induction and CPD)
  • Booking of training courses
  • Assisting with apprenticeships
  • Accessing and marking care certificates
  • Working alongside branch and regional teams to support with bespoke training needs.
