Our diverse client base ranges from mid-market to FTSE-listed groups, public sector, real estate, and financial services, working across various sectors.

At Director level, you will be proactive, curious, committed, and invested in self-development. You will be resilient, experienced in leading successful teams, and possess excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail. Your ability to network confidently and communicate professionally at all levels is essential. You should have strong business development skills with a proven track record of identifying opportunities and converting them into projects.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and internal networks;
  • Leading outsourced tax reporting engagements with technical excellence and efficiency;
  • Managing corporate tax compliance engagements and outsourcing contracts;
  • Driving efficiency through compliance processes, controls, and technology;
  • Advising clients on tax legislation and responding to technical requests;
  • Providing solutions to complex problems;
  • Interacting confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders;
  • Identifying additional client needs and liaising with specialists;
  • Leading business development efforts, including negotiations and contracts;
  • Supporting clients with group/statutory tax reporting, including global outsource projects under US GAAP and IFRS;
  • Coaching team members;
  • Following KPMG best practices and policies;
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and resilience under pressure;
  • Networking effectively and understanding client needs.

Qualifications and skills:

  • We welcome applications from those qualified by experience or with ATT/CTA/ACA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Tax reporting and accounting skills are highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and compliance for large, complex groups;
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences and situations;
  • Strong attention to detail and client service focus;
  • Leadership, enthusiasm, and positive attitude under pressure;
