With a presence in 5 European countries and growing in mainland Europe, we are looking for a Transport Supervisor to play a major role in our Dedicated Fleet team. We operate 24/7/365, providing customers with suitable vehicles and highly trained drivers focused solely on their deliveries. From Sprinter vans to 40-tonne artics, GBA boasts one of the most modern and technologically advanced fleets in the market. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all customer jobs are accurately entered into the GBA system.
- Track and monitor shipments to meet KPIs.
- Assist the Transport Manager in ensuring vehicle and driver compliance.
- Assist with operational planning.
- Maintain site health and safety standards.
- Assist with investigations in collaboration with HR and Transport Manager.
- Take operational responsibility in the absence of the Transport Manager.
- Help update HR systems, e.g., logging sickness.
The Ideal Candidate
- Be proactive, anticipating problems before they occur.
- Possess excellent data analysis skills.
- Understand the Working Time Directive related to drivers.
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
- Be IT literate and proficient across multiple systems.
- Have at least 2 years of transport experience.
