Services Lead Europe, Emergency Care
Job Description
Services Lead Europe, Emergency Care
In late January, we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips’ Emergency Care business, which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025.
With Bridgefield’s support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering healthcare costs, and advancing resuscitation science while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital markets.
This role offers an opportunity to be part of the “NewCo” we are forming, providing growth potential both personally and professionally, and making a significant impact in the acute care space for consumers, patients, and healthcare workers relying on these life-saving solutions.
Your role:
- This role will have full European responsibility for the Service portfolio for all Emergency Care products, acting as the external point of contact for service partners and end customers, and enabling internal stakeholders to identify solutions.
In addition, you will:
- Define, implement, and train Commercial and Service Partners on Service delivery processes and tools.
- Monitor and improve process performance focusing on regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in the selection, onboarding, and evaluation of Service Partners, creating action plans to develop their capabilities.
- Represent the voice of Partners with Philips stakeholders, acting as SME on projects related to indirect business and service.
- Support the commercial and marketing teams in creating business plans with Partners.
- Enable commercial success through strong Service delivery performance.
How we work together
- We believe in collaboration. This role is based in Farnborough, with a split between in-office meetings and remote work, collaborating with stakeholders across UKI, Nordics, BENELUX, and Spain.
You’re right for this role if:
- You have a strong technical background from Biomed, engineering, military equipment services, or similar fields. Training will be provided, but you should grasp medical device technicalities easily.
- You are a strong communicator capable of establishing credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- You understand the healthcare sector, either through direct experience or service provision.
- You have a background in service delivery, service management, customer success, or related roles involving service and outsourcing processes.
- You demonstrate performance management skills (KPI, SLA).
- You hold a full driving license for flexible travel.
- A standard DBS check will be required due to the healthcare environment.
