Are you an experienced continuous improvement professional? Have you worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Do you have strong knowledge of injection moulding and experience in the industry? If so, our client, a manufacturer specialising in injection moulding, is recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Manager for their site in Pickering. This role will involve being responsible for leading improvement initiatives across injection moulding, assembly, and paint processes to reduce waste, enhance efficiency, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Driving improvements in injection moulding processes, reducing cycle times and enhancing quality through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve production issues and prevent future downtime or defects.

Developing and rolling out SOPs and KPIs to ensure consistent quality, monitor performance, and align with business goals.

Managing end-to-end continuous improvement projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable operational gains.

Identifying cost-saving opportunities in materials, energy, and labour while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Holder of a relevant engineering degree or qualification
  • Proven experience of leading continuous improvement projects with manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, statistical software, and project management software
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
