Plant Manager

The POLYTEC GROUP is a leading developer and manufacturer of high-quality plastic parts, with over 3,600 employees worldwide. The Austria-based company is a full-service provider in the field of injection moulding, a specialist in fibre-reinforced plastics and a manufacturer of original accessory parts made of plastic and stainless steel.

We are looking for an employee (m/f/d) who is able to start work as of now in Bridgnorth on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities include:

• Manufacturing, painting and/or assembly of components for vehicles into finished goods within a business unit or from specific production line(s).
• People management and budgetary/cost reporting.
• Leading the Operations function within budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards.
• Ensuring safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements are met.
• Developing an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible team by building working relationships ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
• Managing the team on best practice and establishing standard policies and procedures whilst mentoring and leading teams.
• Implementing and managing continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles.
• Contributing to the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to improve operational performance.

If you are enthusiastic about:

• Effectively and efficiently managing the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications.
• Meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimising costs where possible and ensuring the required best working practices are maintained.
• Responsible for plant production, financial performance, meeting customer requirements and maintaining the orderly and productive operation of planned activities.
• Ensuring the target productivity level is achieved on a daily basis.
• Updating the production plan on a daily basis.
• Communicating and liaising with other departmental managers regarding throughput of stock to ensure production targets are met.
• Driving process improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by appropriate data analysis.
• Undertaking continuous training and development to uphold accreditations such as IATF16949 and ISO 14001.
• Performing root cause analysis and resolving problems.
• Identifying and deploying the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects.

Qualifications:

• 5 years manufacturing experience in Automotive.
• Excellent IT Skills and Data Analysis.
• Self-motivated.
