Grafton Recruitment are working with a large international client to appoint a senior procurement professional with experience in leading service categories around sub contracted infrastructure installation and materials, and civil engineering labour suppliers. This is an exciting newly created role with a dynamic and growing organisation. About the Role
This role will take responsibility for:
- Leading strategy around the 3rd party works and installation categories internationally.
- Working as a subject matter expert in this area within centralised procurement.
- Leading and developing strategy around the supplier portfolio.
- Developing and leading high value and complex negotiations for the category internationally.
- You will lead the relationship with suppliers and manage their performance.
Responsibilities
- Previous experience of managing procurement for infrastructure solutions categories.
- Development and implementation of category strategy.
- Strong track record of internal and external relationship management.
- Entrepreneurial, with strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Consultative approach, and able to take a client facing role.
