An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Service Manager to lead a newly refurbished nursing home. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who thrives in creating a supportive, high-quality care environment where residents feel valued.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, and leading a skilled, compassionate team.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and manage a reliable team, providing training, supervision, and support.
- Oversee nursing and support worker schedules to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure compliance with mental health legislation and healthcare regulations.
- Uphold health and safety standards, including COSHH regulations.
- Maintain CQC requirements and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor and coordinate care plans for all residents.
- Oversee medication administration and liaise with medical professionals.
- Provide leadership and guidance, including being available for on-call support.
- Proven experience managing a similar service.
- A track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC ratings.
- Strong ability to assess, plan, and implement evidence-based care.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
