Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products recognized for their exceptional quality. Due to exciting plans for the second half of 2024, they are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their Supply Chain / Procurement team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Developing and managing supplier relationships to meet business requirements
- Evaluating supplier performance
- Supporting and leading supplier selection, supplier development, and NPI
- Identifying opportunities for quality, cost, delivery, and lead time improvements
- Leading problem-solving activities to resolve issues affecting supplier relations and supply chain performance
- Applying root cause analysis and corrective actions
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- CIPS Qualified
- Experience in an Engineering, Manufacturing, or Production environment
- Knowledge of procurement and contractual law (advantageous)
Benefits Package:
- Salary: £38,000 – £40,000
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours/week, flexible start time, half-day Friday
