Job Description:

We are looking to recruit two high-calibre and enthusiastic PhD researchers who will undertake original research at Nottingham University Business School. To this end, we have made available two full scholarships, aimed at one international and one home PhD student. The international scholarship will cover tuition fees of £23,500 and a yearly stipend of £19,237, while the home scholarship will cover tuition fees of £5,350 and a yearly stipend of £19,237. Both scholarships are for three years, starting from 1st February 2025.

The school has eight departments offering PhD pathways in:

• Business and Management
• Business and Society
• Finance and Risk

Departments have outlined strategic research areas, including:

• Corporate governance and Climate Reporting (Accounting)
• AI-Enhanced Sustainable Finance and Risk Management (Finance, Risk and Banking)
• Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation (Hyden Green Institute)
• Contemporary issues in Industrial Economics (Industrial Economics)
• Marketing for the greater good (Marketing)
• Sustainable work and employment (Organisational Behaviours and Human Resource Management)
• Contemporary Supply Chain Management for sustainability and resilience (Operations Management and Information Systems)
• Sustainability in Business (Strategy and International Business)
