The responsibilities of the AOI Technician will include:
- Operating 2D and 3D AOI machines to inspect PCB assemblies
- Validating first-off and full batch builds against IPC and J-STD standards (Levels 2 & 3)
- Documenting inspection results and process faults
- Interfacing with engineers for inspection feedback and process improvements
- Reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings for orientation and build conformance
- Recording production data using computer-based systems
We are looking for an AOI Technician who:
- Has experience with AOI equipment and a strong eye for detail
- Understands and can work to IPC standards
- Is comfortable reading technical drawings
- Has experience working in a manufacturing or electronics environment
- Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to quality
- Bonus if you have experience with AOI programming, SMT rework, or X-ray inspection
