Temporary Events Coordinator

Temporary Events Coordinator – corporate / professional services – £18-20 per hour plus holiday pay

This is a temporary role to work as an Events Coordinator across corporate events for a small, professional services business (offices in the City). You will be joining an office of 30 staff with an international client base whose events include seminars, webinars and 2 large annual conferences. Events team of 4 – the organisation work hybrid and have a good work-life balance.

Prior Events experience in a small team working on corporate events is beneficial as well as well as an inclusive, hardworking attitude – you will represent this organisation externally to clients and businesses and must have excellent communications skills as well as the ability to pitch in where required at busy times.

Key duties will include:

  • Planning annual events schedule including training and webinars (c. monthly) plus festive / networking dinners and two large, international client conferences annually
  • Liaising with attendees, excellent Excel and database skills plus responding to enquiries (both pre- and post- event)
  • Budgeting and contracts – great attention to detail and good numerical skills (quotes, sponsors, venues, contractors, etc).
  • High level of logistics and coordination alongside the team; including booking travel and accommodation where needed plus visas and any VIP attendee requirements
  • Liaising with internal marketing colleagues
  • Scheduling and project managing timelines

£18-20 per hour plus holiday pay, hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 from home) with great office environment. To start asap. Would like someone to commit for a few months minimum as may develop into a permanent role next year.
