Swift Temps Ltd Engineering Division are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join the team of our client based in Bradford. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in TIG welding, demonstrate proficiency in working with thin plate stainless steel, and have the ability to fabricate components based on technical drawings. Familiarity with using a press brake is essential for success in this role.

About the role & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Engineer, specializing in TIG welding and working with thin plate stainless steel.
  • Execute TIG welding techniques on thin plate stainless steel to ensure high-quality, precise, and durable welds.
  • Utilize technical drawings to fabricate sheet metal components with accuracy and precision.
  • Work with various sheet metal materials, with a primary focus on thin plate stainless steel.
  • Operate a press brake to bend and form sheet metal according to design specifications.
  • Familiarity with various welding techniques and equipment.

Rate of pay £15.50 to £16.00 depending on skill level based on previous experience.

Working hours Monday to Friday 39 per week Mon to Thurs 8.00am to 4.30pm, 8am to 3:30pm Fridays.
