You will be joining our rapidly expanding Maintenance Department which is part of Monument Design & Build. We are looking for experienced Reactive and Small Works Operatives who are hard working, reliable, take pride in the work they do and are used to working in a fast paced environment. You must also have excellent customer service skills as we pride ourselves on delivering high quality workmanship along with building great relationships with our clients who are both Commercial and Residential. You will be based on the road, mainly within the North East and a work vehicle will be provided (for work purposes only). Therefore you must have a full and clean UK driving license.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE BELOW WORKS:
- General Maintenance Repairs
- General Carpentry/Joinery
IT WOULD BE DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL IF THE RIGHT CANDIDATE HAS EXPERIENCE IN THE BELOW WORKS:
- Painting and Small Decorating
- Patch Plastering
- Tiling
- Roof repairs
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
- Relevant trade qualifications would be desirable
- Strong work ethic, motivated, reliable, adaptable and tidy
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with clients, office & site staff
- Take a first-time fix approach to all jobs
- Previous experience in a similar role
