HGV Class 2 Driver in Maidstone

REC Source is seeking professional and flexibleHGV Class 2 Driversfor a general haulage and store delivery operation.

This role includestail lift deliveries, multidrop work, and the use of curtain-sided vehicles, withoccasional manual handling.

Flexibility is essential, including readiness for night outs and weekend shifts.

• OperateHGV Class 2vehicles forstore and general deliveriesacross the UK.
• Complete and maintain accuratemanifests and delivery notes.
• Conductpre- and post-shift vehicle checks, including tail lift operation.
• Carry outmultidrop deliveriesusing pallet trucks and manual handling.
• Be prepared forovernight stays, especially when booked as a spare driver.
• Downloadtacho card data daily, both at the beginning and end of the shift.

• Licence:Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Experience:Held for at least 12 months with relevant driving experience.
• Points:Maximum of 6 penalty points; no major endorsements.
• PPE:Safety boots, gloves, and high-visibility vest are required.
• PAYE only

Role-Specific Requirements:

• Willing to operate vehicles below licence category if required, while paid for booked class.
• Comfortable withlong-distance and London deliveries(up to 10 drops).
• Must maintain aclean and tidy appearanceand deliver excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work weekends is highly desirable, includingweekend-only drivers.

• Potential forTemp-to-Permplacement.
• Early start times with consistent work.
• Opportunities forovertimeand weekend shifts.

• Monday to Friday Day= £15.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday Night= £16.50 per hour
• Saturday Day/Night = £16.50 per hour.
