About: One of the fastest-growing transportation consultancies, providing specialist transport planning, highways & traffic engineering, and surveying services to public and private sector clients, has rapidly expanded over the past few years to become a leader in the sector. Based in Old Street, in a modern office, they are a circa 60 strong, dynamic team of experts that want to welcome you, a Transport Planner, to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage the implementation of Transport Strategy and Policy for local authority clients.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for clients.
- Technical Excellence: Develop technically sound analyses for urban transport and public realm challenges, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively across disciplines, internally and externally, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Project Delivery: Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure rigorous quality control on all project deliverables.
Desirable Experience:
- Working knowledge of the application of Transport Policy and Strategy as a Transport Planner or Transport Consultant in a Local Authority environment.
- Experience authoring Transport Infrastructure Business Cases and knowledge of Economic Appraisal methodology.
