An established UK law firm is looking for a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its Scottish Real Estate team. This is a part-time position (2–3 days per week), ideal for an experienced property lawyer who enjoys knowledge development, training, and supporting best-in-class client service through excellence in legal resources and internal education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge Management & Resources
- Maintain and manage internal legal knowledge platforms, including online property resources
- Capture and curate valuable know-how from fee earners, implementing ongoing procedures to systematise knowledge sharing
- Ensure up-to-date and practical guidance is easily accessible across the team
- Precedents & Style Bank
- Draft, introduce, and regularly update legal precedents, style templates, manuals, and guides
- Proactively source new styles and keep documentation aligned with legal and commercial developments
- Learning & Development
- Contribute to and support internal training across the property division
- Help prepare and deliver sessions for solicitors, trainees, and paralegals
- Assist in testing and implementing automated document solutions
- Online Services & Client Tools
- Support the setup and maintenance of client-facing online legal tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance client service delivery through tech-enabled resources
- Business Development & Marketing Support
- Liaise with business development and marketing teams to assist in content generation
- Coordinate and edit website content; promote internal article writing and knowledge sharing
About You:
- A qualified property lawyer with relevant experience in Scottish commercial real estate
- Strong drafting skills and a passion for knowledge sharing, process improvement, and training
- Confident in managing legal content and supporting online systems and tools
- Self-motivated and organised, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
