Bookings Manager

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for customer service and team management ? We’re looking for an Automotive Bookings Manager to lead, develop, and drive the performance of our Customer Contact Centre Team . Working closely with the Service Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced team handling inbound and outbound bookings for the BMW / MINI group, ensuring a seamless customer experience. If you\’re a results-driven professional with strong leadership skills and a track record of coaching teams, improving processes, and exceeding performance targets , we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the Bookings Advisors to exceed booking targets and deliver outstanding service.
• Drive performance management , coaching, and training to develop a high-performing team.
• Set and monitor KPIs (Speed to Answer, Bookings, Compliance, etc.) to ensure efficiency.
• Ensure a customer-first approach , handling queries and complaints effectively.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and rota planning to maintain full operational coverage.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and 1:1 coaching sessions.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership ability with a track record of managing and developing successful teams.
• Strong communication, coaching, and people management skills .
• Experience in performance management , with the ability to drive and exceed targets.
• Analytical mindset , using data to identify trends and implement solutions.
• Basic knowledge of HR policies , including absence and sickness management.
• Experience with CRM systems , with SAP knowledge preferred.
• Professional, proactive, and results-driven approach.
