Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering exclusively with a leading global manufacturer in Sheffield in their search for a Warehouse Supervisor. Reporting into the Production Manager, this newly created role will supervise the Stores and Dispatch team (team of 5) and you will ensure day to day KPI’s are achieved in line with site objectives.

Warehouse Supervisor Duties:

  • Liaising with the Production Manager and attending necessary meetings, communicating and prioritising relevant information to the Warehouse team
  • Maintaining a positive, disciplined and collaborative team environment
  • Endorsing Warehouse area housekeeping promoting the importance of a clean, tidy and safe working environment, working in accordance with 5S practices
  • Promoting effective lean practices and be a driving influence in the process of continual improvement within the Warehouse area
  • Ensuring team adherence to time and attendance requirements and company requirements for data collection
  • Managing the flow of materials to dispatch from assembly
  • Ensuring all NCRs raised by the Warehouse area are fully completed and processed in line with documented procedures

Working Hours: 7am – 3pm (Monday—Thursday) and 7am-1pm (Friday)

Required skills & experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and leadership skills
  • Sound knowledge on import / export procedures and inventory control / management
  • Experience of working in and developing a lean manufacturing culture
  • Experience of MRP systems (JDE & SAP desirable)
