Are you a proven and enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager seeking a new role with a renowned developer? We are delighted to be working with one of the leading brands in the industry as they seek to strengthen their on-site management team and appoint an Assistant Site Manager to a development in Midlothian.
Reporting to a Site Manager, typical day-to-day site duties of the Assistant Site Manager will include:
- Keeping Health and Safety requirements up to date on a daily basis by supporting each area.
- Assisting with keeping the build programme moving forward to meet agreed targets.
- Accommodating customer walk arounds / handovers to ensure first class customer service throughout.
- Quality inspections to ensure work meets expectation.
- Assisting with the management of all site activity day to day (labour and sub contractor coordination).
- Liaising with contractors to keep site / compound tidy and clean at all times.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised and has strong management skills. Demonstrating confidence and comfort when liaising with all relevant stakeholders. A proven track record delivering new build construction projects is a must given the nature of this role and it would certainly be desirable if you had experience in the housing industry. Up to date CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates will be required for this role.
