We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Class 2 Driver with Moffett license to join our team in Manchester. Monday - Friday - 0700am £18.00p/h through PAYE. If you have a passion for driving and are committed to providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily walk-around checks on the vehicle to ensure it is safe and roadworthy.
- Securing loads properly to ensure safe transportation.
- Navigating efficiently to customer sites and making timely deliveries.
- Assisting customers with the offloading of goods, ensuring orders are complete and meeting customer satisfaction.
- Making collections from suppliers and ensuring goods are safely returned to the yard.
- Communicating regularly with the Manager throughout the day to provide updates and feedback.
- Addressing any customer, location, or order issues and providing detailed feedback.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and all collections are returned to the yard and booked in promptly by the Goods In team.
- Adhering to safe driving practices and following all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Moffett forklift license.
- Proven experience as a class 2 Tonne Driver.
- A valid class 2 Driving License.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Excellent navigational skills and a good knowledge of Manchester area.
