We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Class 2 Driver with Moffett license to join our team in Manchester. Monday - Friday - 0700am £18.00p/h through PAYE. If you have a passion for driving and are committed to providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting daily walk-around checks on the vehicle to ensure it is safe and roadworthy.
  • Securing loads properly to ensure safe transportation.
  • Navigating efficiently to customer sites and making timely deliveries.
  • Assisting customers with the offloading of goods, ensuring orders are complete and meeting customer satisfaction.
  • Making collections from suppliers and ensuring goods are safely returned to the yard.
  • Communicating regularly with the Manager throughout the day to provide updates and feedback.
  • Addressing any customer, location, or order issues and providing detailed feedback.
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and all collections are returned to the yard and booked in promptly by the Goods In team.
  • Adhering to safe driving practices and following all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Moffett forklift license.
  • Proven experience as a class 2 Tonne Driver.
  • A valid class 2 Driving License.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
  • Excellent navigational skills and a good knowledge of Manchester area.
