As Interim Finance, Commercial & Investment Relations Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery and financial management of a large capital investment construction project. The role will encompass Investor Relations, Commercial and the application of financial rigour while the business gears up to deliver the project. You will work with the leadership team to build a new Finance Team to support the delivery of the program, work with operational team leads and external contractors from a commercial perspective and be point of contact for any external funding/investment.
Role Deliverables:
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly financial reporting for Capital Investment to ensure accurate accounting and cost control.
- Manage the commercial relationship with external contractors.
- Responsibility for Investor Relations relating to the project.
- Provide clear, timely reports to the business, Executives, and Board, demonstrating control and linking performance with investment.
- Prepare and present performance reports to the Executive Committee and Investment Sub-committees, offering insights and guidance to drive the business forward.
- Deliver a 5-year Financial Plan for the program.
