We are currently looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join a fantastic company that is expanding its sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional with a strong track record in securing contracts and growing business within a competitive market.

In this role, you will take responsibility for securing contracts within the designated geographical region, developing both existing and new customer relationships while ensuring proposals and pricing structures are delivered effectively. The primary focus will be on securing contracted work agreements ranging from £10K to £500K per annum, as well as larger projects over £50K through established frameworks and customer relationships. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities by running a small team of Business Development Managers. You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring the team, ensuring they meet individual sales targets, and providing strategic input into business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring continued business growth and contract retention.
  • Lead and manage a small team of Business Development Managers, offering guidance and support to ensure team success.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, securing long-term contracts and high-value projects.
  • Oversee the preparation and timely submission of bids, tenders, and proposals.
  • Work closely with key decision-makers to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Ensure the CRM system is regularly updated and that all business opportunities are actively managed.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and enhance brand presence.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed personal and team revenue targets.
