Platers Surface Treatment form a key component of the Stroud Manufacturing Team, completing surface treatments on Aerospace Components for all leading Aircraft Manufacturers and their supporting subcontractors. Platers grade C/Ci will hold direct relevant experience of Pre-Treatment, Masking and Processing of components.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparation of components for surface treatment including but not limited to, masking, media blasting & waxing
- Process components following detailed process instructions / data sheets
- Record processing times and outcomes from surface treatment operations
- Promote a safety-first culture
- Supporting Continuous Improvement within the Surface Treatment department and the general business
