Our client specialise in delivering advanced automation and control solutions to clients across baggage handling, manufacturing, material handling, food & beverage, etc. With a commitment to innovation and quality, they are expanding their engineering team and are looking for a skilled PLC/SCADA Engineer to join.
As a PLC/SCADA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining automation control systems. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to develop solutions that meet operational and safety requirements while maximizing efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement PLC and SCADA systems for industrial automation projects.
- Develop control logic and HMI/SCADA interfaces using platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or similar.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting both on-site and remotely.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
- Prepare project documentation, including functional design specifications and manuals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in PLC/SCADA engineering or industrial automation.
- Proficient in programming PLCs (Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.) and SCADA/HMI platforms (WinCC, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, remote monitoring, or cybersecurity in industrial systems.
- Knowledge of safety PLCs and standards (e.g., SIL, IEC 61508).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or EPLAN for electrical schematics.
