About the Role:Are you passionate about using your expertise in a client-facing role? As a Desktop Loss Adjuster at Davies, you\’ll handle a variety of claims, supporting our Loss Adjusting team efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Handling:Manage Domestic & Commercial claims, interpreting policy cover and conditions.
- Building Knowledge:Understand building structures, materials, and defects.
- Investigation:Conduct thorough investigations and interviews, obtain witness statements.
- Negotiation:Use advanced negotiation skills to settle claims.
- Customer Service:Provide expert advice to customers and clients.
- Compliance:Ensure all correspondence and database entries meet service standards.
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependability and persistence.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Full driving license required.
- Insurance claims experience.
- ACII and ACILA qualifications are a plus.
