We are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s largest, fully integrated social enterprises, dedicated to learning, training and employment, to recruit a Director of Governance & Company Secretary. The successful individual will work with the Chair, Chief Executive and Board to ensure the highest corporate governance and compliance standards are administered in line with best practice, facilitating decision making and coordinating committees.
You will take accountability for regulatory compliance, governance advice and recruitment, and sourcing legal and legislative advice to mitigate risk, inform thinking and modernise working practices.
We seek an experienced governance professional operating within a complex customer-centric environment. You will have a wealth of experience working with a forward-thinking Chief Executive and advising Boards to ensure effective governance and regulatory compliance is delivered whilst facilitating change. You will be an excellent communicator, able to influence senior leaders, and suitably hands-on in coordinating administration methodically and fastidiously.
