Are you ready to take ownership of critical supply chain operations in a fast-paced, high-performance environment? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Supply Chain/Material Planner to lead the coordination of production materials from supplier to shop floor.

What You’ll Do: You’ll be at the heart of operations-planning, organising, and driving the flow of materials to meet production demands with precision. Working cross-functionally, you’ll ensure delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency across the board.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials from suppliers to meet production schedules
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive action to resolve delivery arrears
  • Minimise costs of urgent or special transports through effective planning and supplier coordination
  • Support inventory accuracy and reconciliation efforts, including root cause analysis
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels while safeguarding production continuity
  • Configure and optimise ERP (SAP) settings for planning and control
  • Determine optimal delivery batch sizes to balance cost and flexibility
  • Review and align supplier logistics agreements during project phases
  • Convert sales and operations plans into precise material requirements (MRP)
  • Share forecasts with suppliers and confirm their capacity to meet demand
  • Issue updated delivery schedules and monitor supplier execution and responsiveness
  • Drive the execution of contingency plans where needed
  • Lead inventory cycle counts and perform variance analysis

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong computer and data analysis skills, especially in SAP, Excel, and Access
  • Hands-on experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Solid understanding of lean logistics and lean production concepts
  • Proven track record in production planning, scheduling, and materials control
  • Deep familiarity with MRP systems in complex manufacturing setups
  • A working knowledge of quality systems, OEM standards, and business processes
  • Expertise in JIT and Kanban-based logistics systems
