The Company

Seymour John are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in the West Bromwich area, who are looking to strengthen their finance team, with the appointment of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

  • Checking supplier statements to received invoices
  • Preparing, authorising and posting supplier invoices, credit and debit notes to supplier accounts
  • Filing processed invoices
  • Initial preparation of payment run
  • Handling supplier payment enquiries
  • Verification of BACS run details, processing payment run via the ERP system and importing into banking software
  • Reconciling of postings through to general ledger

We’re looking to speak with Purchase Ledger Clerks who are available to start a new role at short notice and have a solid background in end-to-end purchase ledger processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise a busy workload.
