£28,000 - £34,000 salary guide plus excellent benefits including 27 days holiday plus all bank holidays, a good pension and lots of other benefits.

Working Hours: 39 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 8am-4.45pm and Friday 8am-3.45pm (some flexibility can be offered).

We are looking for somebody who will enjoy working as part of an automotive test engineering team where you will see the very latest cars, motorcycles, military vehicles, and trucks being tested and developed every day!

Your background as a Videographer:

  • We are looking for a candidate with previous experience of operating and using videography and photography equipment such as digital cameras, ground cameras, drones and GoPros on a regular basis.
  • You will be working within an engineering workshop / test facility alongside Engineers and Technicians so any experience or interest in engineering, cars, motorsport etc. would be a bonus (not essential).
  • This is an industry leading, very professional, highly skilled, and dynamic working environment so would suit somebody who will enjoy working in an evolving environment and be able to adapt to business and customer needs.
  • Experience operating a drone would be extremely advantageous.
  • You will hold a relevant qualification, training or certification in photography, videography, drone operation, creative media studies or similar!
  • You will need to hold a full clean driving license.

Videographer Responsibilities:

  • Working within a brand-new automotive research and development facility alongside Engineers and Technicians operating and using high speed camera equipment to record engineering tests taking place.
  • Fitting & setting up high speed cameras to capture test data.
  • Safely operating a drone to capture high-quality, time-referenced footage.
  • Planning and checking camera positions, clarity of camera views, lenses, performing still photography pre and post-test.
  • Edit and process photo & video footage.
  • Ensure camera equipment, hardware and software is maintained as required.
  • You will also receive first class training to be able to support the vehicle test set up and data collection process.
