Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Commissioning Engineer with proven experience in commissioning PLC and SCADA systems, ideally within the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities of the Commissioning Engineer:

  • Carry out software commissioning of existing PLC code and SCADA systems.
  • Build solutions from existing templates, developing new functionality for existing systems.
  • Strong system configuration and testing knowledge is essential; the client’s systems are typically based on Siemens TIA Portal or Allen Bradley ControlLogix 5000.
  • Comfortable with travel and spending time on customer sites across the UK. While development work will take place in the office or at home, extended periods will be spent on customer sites.
  • Experience with Siemens WinCC, Wonderware InTouch, or AVEVA System Platform is desirable.
  • Any knowledge of web-based technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, or CSS would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • The client’s office is based in Warwickshire, so candidates should ideally live within a sensible commuting distance.
