Receptionist required for an immediate start at South West Acute Hospital. This is a busy/ demanding role based in the Emergency Department and will be for a minimum of 3 months with a rate of pay of £11.45 per hour working 9am 5pm Monday to Friday. The successful post holder must have: Strong communication skills while talking to patients and family members face to face or over the telephone who may be in emotional distress. Be able to highlight to clinical staff any patients who on arrival meet the criteria of time sensitive illness and are too ill to wait for triage Can respond in a calm and timely manner to a major accident by contacting additional staff members. Patient registration and reception duties and process information to other departments within the hospital This post requires someone who has experience prioritising tasks and the ability to communicate in a professional and calm manner.
