A fantastic opportunity to join a successful construction / maintenance company in the Waterlooville area, looking for a new Finance Assistant to join their friendly team. You will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Purchase orders - ensuring all are accurate and high value POs are insured, reporting overdue balances and checking that invoiced projects have insurance
- Domestic Reverse Charges - checking each month that proof of DRC has been received for all clients
- Managing client and supplier accounts accurately
- Credit control including managing bad debt
- Retentions
- Cashflow forecasts
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns - preparation, checking and submission
- Assisting on and undertaking preparation of Balance Sheet and P&L
The company is looking for someone full-time 9am-4pm. Previous experience using Xero software would be highly beneficial. Previous experience working within construction / maintenance / projects sectors would also be highly beneficial.
