The Cake Crew is looking for an experienced Senior National Account Manager to join our commercial team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an FMCG environment and exposure to the major multiples, particularly with Tesco and Co-Op.

- Procurement
- Supply Chain
- Senior Management
The role is home based but requires being on site in Bala, North Wales once a week and involves regular national travel. Expenses covered.
PERSON PROFILE
Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. This is a role for an active manager, with total involvement in the business and a motivational and inspirational approach. You will be looking to join a company where you can develop, implement and maintain the standards expected by the company and customers.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
- Targeted against annual budget across assigned accounts
- Develop the JBP, NPD and Promotional Plans with full P&L responsibility across assigned accounts
- Maintain and grow account base through strategic implementation and creativity
- Develop and manage a network of senior commercial and marketing contacts across key food retailers to keep up with customer needs and assist in sustainably growing the business
- Serve as the contact person for retailers and internal teams
- Ensure adherence to all brand guidelines
- Senior lead on NPD Team providing support in line with the Head of NPD’s KPIs
- Responsible for the development of TCC Branded and Licenced Co-Man business ensuring ranges are developed within brand guidelines and are commercially viable to drive market share
- Manage agreed contracts/KPIs/JPBs where applicable
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience of the food industry essential, ideally within private label bakery with specific experience of Tesco and Co-Op account management
- Branded FMCG background and training
- Able to collaborate internally with commercial functions
- Demonstrates commercial acumen and enthusiasm for the FMCG industry
- Tenacious and proactive, finds solutions to problems
- Confident, articulate and courteous communicator over the phone, face to face and in writing
- Actively works with the team to create a positive team environment
- Highly flexible, competent and adaptable, takes responsibility for own learning
- Undertakes tasks with enthusiasm and takes pride in his/her work at all times
- Communicates effectively at all levels, considers others’ opinions and always treats others with respect
- Displays a positive and professional attitude
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience of working with Top 4 and Discounters in Private Label
- Driven and energetic, possessing a highly-personable style that easily connects and works well within a motivated, highly-collaborative team culture
- Ability to read, understand and implement category data to scientifically support decision making both internally and with retailers
