We are currently recruiting for an Ecommerce Coordinator & Copywriter to support the online team. As an essential part of the team, you will report to the Head of Ecommerce and work alongside the web team and relevant departments ensuring that the website is constantly updated and optimised. This role is ideal for someone with strong writing skills, capable of adapting their voice to suit Couverture and The Garbstore’s brand ethos, and interested in growing within ecommerce.

The role will have a focus on facilitating content creation in both written and visual formats as well as assisting with day-to-day activities such as product upload, processing orders, dealing with customer services and managing administrative tasks. The role will be based from our Notting Hill office and the successful applicant will be working closely within a creatively driven, small knit team. This is an excellent role for someone looking to establish themselves within the fashion/e-commerce landscape and training will be provided on industry best practices.

Key responsibilities:
  • Product upload and website content
  • Analyse and own all online content creation, including regular updates to core pages, product copy and written content.
  • Writing product descriptions and content for the website.
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure all website assets are on brand, accurate and delivered on time.
  • Assisting with seasonal upload of new products and data for website, using the content management system, as well as maintenance of existing products and inventory within the CMS.
  • Ensure that tone of voice is consistent across all platforms, and in press material where needed.
  • Write, edit and publish high quality, engaging and unique content for company’s online store.
  • Conduct thorough brand and product research to inform your copy whilst working independently, delivering copy at pace to strict deadlines.
  • Support Digital Marketing Executive with the creation and testing of ad-hoc and automated marketing newsletters on the email marketing platform.
  • Work with the Head of Ecommerce on both technical and content SEO strategy.
  • Implementing front and back-end optimisations, regularly ‘walk’ the online store, resolving errors in a timely manner.
  • Organising ‘related items’ on the website product page, suggesting coordinating pieces to drive sales.
  • Working with the Ecommerce team on seasonal sale setup.
  • Responding to customer enquiries over the phone and email where necessary, especially during peak period.
  • Picking, processing and dispatching orders. Working alongside the store to ensure stock levels and product availability are up to date.
Requirements:
  • Excellent spelling and grammar with keen attention to detail.
  • Organised with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Highly motivated and flexible - a self-starter who thrives on owning job responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously under tight timeframes and within a fast paced environment.
  • Collaborative with strong inter-personal skills, to build relationships across multiple departments.
  • Experience within a similar role. Ecommerce and retail experience preferred.
  • Shopify experience is preferred.
  • IT literate with excellent knowledge of office software (Word, Excel).
  • Market aware (Luxury fashion & lifestyle).
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
