£16.00 per hour | Monday to Friday | 06:00 Start

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected client based in Basildon, who is looking for experienced Class 2 Waste Drivers for long-term, ongoing work in the local area.

The Role: As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class 2 refuse vehicle and assisting with loading duties when required. You will work across residential areas in Basildon, helping keep the community clean and tidy.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 06:00am start

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate Class 2 refuse vehicles (dustcarts)
  • Collect household, recycling, and garden waste
  • Assist with loading duties as required
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete paperwork
  • Dispose of collected waste at designated sites

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (HGV II) Licence
  • Driver CPC
  • No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR)
  • A good attitude and team spirit
