JS Engineer to help build a next-generation ed-tech platform. They are looking to grow the backend development team to drive new feature development for phase 2 of the app build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use JS and TypeScript to build cloud native, event driven microservices hosted in AWS.

Location: Hybrid (Occasional visits to SW London based office)
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Share Options + Benefits
The working set-up is hybrid but highly flexible with an emphasis on remote working. Office is based in SW London, so you must be UK based.
Requirements:
- Expertise in constructing microservices and applications based on event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, preferably with the AWS stack.
- Understanding the pros and cons of AWS Lambdas.
- Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing.
- Exposure to agile, lean, or extreme programming methodologies.
- A background rooted in Computer Science.
- Familiarity with app monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code solutions like AWS CDK or Terraform.
