A Tier 1 contractor is hiring for a Façade Manager for an 8 month duration on a new build 12 storey office block in South West London.
About the role of Façade Manager:
- The role will be managing the façade package, working alongside an on-site Project Lead.
- The Façade consists mostly of Curtain Walling, so this experience is crucial.
- The project is worth circa £50m.
- Strong people management skills, experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming and construction methodology.
- Experience managing all phases of façade packages, including health and safety, quality, and costs.
- Knowledge of façade design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing façades for different types of projects.
- Understanding of façade materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly.
- Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring all health & safety protocols are in place.
