Thornleigh Camphill Communities is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Trustees who are going to help the Charity take its next steps. Thornleigh Camphill Communities is based in Thornbury (South Gloucestershire) and we provide support in a supported living context, day opportunities and housing for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health support needs.

This is an exciting time to get involved with the Trustee Board as we review our long-term strategy and plan our development. As a Trustee, you will work alongside the CEO, management team and representative beneficiaries to set the strategic direction, providing us with insight and expertise.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in areas such as finance, HR, fundraising, the Camphill Movement and the social care sector, but this is not essential. We are really interested in hearing from individuals who want to make a difference to the lives of our residents, bringing a variety of skills, experience and backgrounds.

The Trustee Board meets in person four times per year, usually Wednesdays during office hours, in addition to ad-hoc requirements.

Thornleigh Camphill Communities is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of people with learning disabilities and autism and expect all appointees to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo safeguarding screening, including checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
