TecRec are currently searching for an experienced Maintenance Manager to be based on a high-end residential site in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is to work for specialists in operating small to large-scale living, commercial and mixed-use developments. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs fastest-growing BTR and large-scale mixed-use operators with over 4,000 units under management.

Summary: This is to manage and oversee the technical and mechanical tasks that maintain the apartments, grounds, amenities, and common areas of a 373 unit Build to Rent (BTR) scheme in Leith, Edinburgh. The successful candidate will meet high standards of appearance, safety, and functionality delivering a seamless experience for their residents. H&S is of utmost importance so you will ensure that H&S compliances are met within SLAs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing inspections
  • Conducting repairs
  • Overseeing general upkeep of apartments and the buildings interior and exterior

The ideal candidate will come from a technical maintenance background and will have qualifications & experience such as:

  • Experience of working in the private residential sector
  • IOSH level 3 Qualified
  • 18th edition level (IEE wiring regulations)
  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 in plumbing maintenance
  • Desired Fire door inspection qualification
