We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Meeting and Events Operations Manager to join us at The Londoner Hotel.
OverviewAn amazing opportunity to join the Meeting and Events Operations team at The Londoner Hotel as an Assistant Meeting and Events Operations Manager. You will take responsibility for your events and will co-ordinate the team to ensure that all aspects of the function are fulfilled. You will check that the event spaces are set as per corresponding function sheets. You will ensure a pre-event/shift briefing is conducted before every event to discuss the detail of the event, any special requests or instructions, and to ensure that all staff are clear on their responsibilities for the event. You will ensure that the flow of service during an event is seamless and that all guests' needs are met. You should be able to handle complaints and feedback confidently, rectifying problems where you can. You will ensure that the appropriate cash and card procedures are in place at the bar and that cashing up is done accurately. You will support the Meeting and Events Operations Manager with team development and performance management.
About You- Previous experience of working in meetings and events operations at a management level
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
- Ability to lead, coach and develop a team
- Impeccable command of English both written and spoken
- A passion for food and beverage and a desire to provide impeccable service
