Pure Search are instructed by a leading UK law firm looking to grow their Insurance Litigation practice. This role is unique in that you will have exposure to both Insurance Litigation and general commercial disputes.
Sitting within the Commercial Litigation group, this is a rare chance for a mid-senior level insurance litigation lawyer, with existing coverage or policyholder experience, to diversify their experience into other areas including fraud and financial services litigation, cyber and tech disputes and general commercial litigation.
Our client has a well-balanced Commercial Litigation practice, with a number of their partners joining from larger international or US law firms in search of a more sustainable work/life balance. They are highly ranked by Legal 500 and have a track record of organic growth from within, including a market-leading partnership track programme.
The role will primarily focus on disputes for insurance policyholders and therefore experience of either policyholder disputes or coverage claims is essential. The breadth of your caseload will be extremely broad ranging from political risk and cyber claims through to cross-border group actions and international arbitrations.
You will join a Legal 500 ranked team for Insurance Litigation and the role will ideally suit someone with aspirations of partnership but a recognition that they will play a key role in business development to build their own practice in the first instance. As a result, it will suit a 'go-getter' who relishes the opportunity to be in front of clients, building a genuine client following.
Our client offers an excellent work/life balance with low billable target hours, a competitive remuneration model and a clear path for progression for the right individual.
