Fire Engineer Location: Colchester (Hybrid) Salary: Up to £90,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Career Progression Prime Appointments is partnering with an industry leading expert to recruit a talented Fire Engineer for their growing team based near Colchester. This senior-level position reports directly to the Head of Operations and focuses on delivering cutting-edge fire safety strategies for existing buildings. Key Responsibilities: Perform in-depth fire safety inspections and deliver detailed reports with practical recommendations Ensure compliance with current legislation and standards (e.g., ADB, BS 9997) Design and implement retrospective fire safety strategies for existing structures Identify risks and provide cost-effective, innovative solutions Drive the adoption of new fire safety services and emerging technologies Work closely with diverse teams to integrate fire safety solutions seamlesslyQualifications & Experience: Degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline (essential) Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it (preferred) Proven expertise in fire engineering, consultancy, or risk assessment Deep understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance standards Ability to lead technically and provide expert advice to clients Experience with heritage buildings, high-rise structures, or complex projects (a plus) Strong skills in fire strategy development, stakeholder collaboration, and re…
