This role is for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join an established business in the North West. The role is part of a brand new team and will be instrumental in implementing a CI culture within the business.
Client Details: Our client is an established company, with 5 sites across the UK. This role will be split between the sites in Chorley and Bolton, with opportunity to be based out of either site.
Description
- To drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation.
- To work closely with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to develop and implement strategies for improvement.
- To ensure compliance with industry and company standards in the Life Science industry.
- To provide technical leadership and support to the team.
- To work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals.
- To troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
- To participate in project management and planning.
- To maintain accurate records and documentation.
Profile: A successful CI Engineer should have:
- Mechanical Engineering background or experience.
- Proven continuous improvement experience and ability to drive cost-down initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to function and work autonomously.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
