We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Clinical Lead (RGN) to join a reputable care home in the Felling, Newcastle area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to step into a leadership role or an established Clinical Lead seeking a new challenge.

About the Role: As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality nursing care is provided to residents. You will work closely with the Home Manager to oversee clinical standards, provide guidance to nursing teams, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Home Manager with clinical and administrative tasks
  • Acting as Nurse in Charge and leading the nursing team
  • Administering medication and maintaining high-quality care plans
  • Providing physical, emotional, and psychological support to residents
  • Ensuring adherence to safeguarding policies and maintaining resident safety
  • Managing staff, including training, supervision, and performance assessments
  • Implementing infection prevention and control measures
  • Liaising with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams
  • Assisting with inspections and compliance audits
