We are looking to recruit an Innovations Technical Administrator for a niche specialist manufacturer based in Bridgwater, whose products are used globally. This is an excellent opportunity to help develop the future of the business at what is an exciting period of growth.
Main purpose of the role: To provide administrative and analytical support, to enable the Innovations Technologists and Scientists to concentrate on developing new products.
The successful candidate will have previous Quality / Technical / laboratory administration and testing skills and main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the innovations team with administrative and analytical support.
- Creating and maintaining filing and recording systems for all work streams.
- Arranging dates and times for trials with the Operations and Planning team.
- Ensuring the correct materials and documentation are available ahead of the trial to allow the Innovations Technologist to carry out trials in a timely manner.
- Infrequently attending trials outside of core office hours.
- Collecting samples, accurately recording sample data, date & time of production, product codes, and trial information needed for the trial library.
- Co-ordinating meetings as directed, including booking meeting rooms and refreshments.
- Carrying out low levels of testing and recording results accurately.
- Carrying out analysis on trial data as directed.
- Maintaining the Innovations samples library, documenting sample data as directed and storing samples safely for easy retrieval.
The successful Technical Administrator may have previous experience working in a Quality Laboratory, Research and Development team role or textile manufacturing, food & drink manufacturing, pharmaceutical.
This role is commutable from Bridgwater, Taunton, Exeter, Bristol, Weston Super Mare, Honiton, Cheddar, Highbridge, Clevedon.
Relevant UK permanent work visa is essential.
