Barking based Outstanding School seeking 2 x Graduate TA's – ASAP Start

Graded as 'outstanding' by Ofsted, this special school based in East London is at the forefront of SEN provision in the UK.With a reputation of excellence, dedication and care, the school delivers an exceptional education to children aged 4 – 18 with profound learning difficulties.

The school are looking for two graduates with SEN experience to join the school ASAP as TA's working with children that have a wide range of learning difficulties. The school provides a safe, nurturing, and educationally stimulating environment for pupils with moderate to severe special educational needs.

The Graduate TA role will see you working closely with experienced class teachers to support pupils learning, helping to raise attainment and access learning. This will include academic tuition with a focus on literacy and numeracy, but there will also be an emphasis on learning life skills, with every pupil having an individualised education plan that you will help deliver. The ethos at this school is to uplift and inspire every child under their care, improving educational and life outcomes and building confidence.

As a TA, you will be tasked with embracing and upholding this ethos. Though you will need previous experience supporting children with learning difficulties, the school will support you every day in your role, providing high-quality training for you to make the best possible impact on the lives of these children.
