About the role

Location: Newcastle city centre (Hybrid working available after probation)

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 (depending on experience)

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in IT and case management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open new clients and matters in the case management system (Liberate).
  • Monitor and manage the team’s shared mailbox.
  • Perform customer due diligence (CDD) checks using electronic tools.
  • Research clients using public sources like Companies House.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance.
  • Run sanctions and conflict checks.
  • Review client information and risk assessments during the file-opening process.
  • Assist with ad hoc compliance projects.
  • Escalate issues as needed to the Compliance Officer or senior staff.
